11 days of hair loss due to the course of chemotherapy. I photographed every bit of hair that fell out, which resulted in a collection of 124 photographs. Each step in this transition brought me closer into the world of becoming a patient.

By means of this collection of hair I am showing the impact of hair loss as well as the process of accepting and undergoing illness. To what point does something still depend on your own actions? When does one adopt a submissive role? When does the moment of surrender occur?
